The Ministry of Defense (MoD)
to open British UFO X-files |
| |
Telegraph.co.uk - United Kingdom -
24/12/2007 |
| |
Top-secret details about hundreds of
sightings of Unidentified Flying
Objects are to be released for
public viewing in response to the
nation's continuing fascination with
the subject. The Ministry of Defence
will release a total of 160 files
dating back to that time to the
National Archives in Kew. The first
files will be made available in
Spring 2008 and the process is
expected to take three years. The
MoD has received reports of over
10,000 UFO sightings since the UFO
project was set up in 1950. After
investigation, around 5 per cent
remain unexplained. According to
Nick Pope, who ran the Ministry of
Defence UFO project from 1991 to
1994, some of the sightings are "highly
credible". A Ministry of Defence
spokeswoman confirmed the documents
would be released from next year. "There
has always been a great deal of
interest in this subject," she said. |

Science Minister joins in on UFO
debate: ‘It would be fun if they
existed’ |
| |
Japan News Review - Stockholm,
Sweden - 22/12/2007 |
| |
Education
and Science Minister Kisaburo Tokai
said during a press conference held
Friday he hoped aliens existed, so
children would become more
interested in space, Japanese media
reports. “They exist, don’t they? It
would be fun if they did,” Tokai
said and became the third
member of the Cabinet to make his
views on UFOs official in a debate
sparked by a question to the Cabinet
by Democratic Party of Japan (DPJ)
lawmaker Ryuji Yamane.
The cabinet started its regular
meeting Friday with a lively
discussion about UFOs, despite other
pressing issues and a new poll
showing a sharp fall in public
support. “As long as it
doesn’t scare people, I think it is
fine to talk about UFOs,” Tokai was
quoted as saying by the Yomiuri
Shimbun. “There have been films like
‘ET.’ It might make children grow up
with an interest in space.“ |

Debates sobre ovnis invaden ámbito
político de Japón |

Reuters América Latina - UK
-21/12/2007 |
| |
TOKIO (Reuters) - Un debate sobre
platillos voladores ha mantenido
ocupados a los políticos japoneses
durante buena parte de esta semana,
involucrando a altos funcionarios y
generando una promesa del ministerio
de Defensa de enviar al Ejército si
Godzilla ataca. "Hay debates sobre
qué hace volar a los ovnis, pero
sería difícil decir que es una
invasión del espacio aéreo," dijo el
jueves el ministro de Defensa
Shigeru Ishiba en una conferencia de
prensa. "Si Godzilla apareciera,
sería abordado con una unidad para
desastres," agregó. Sus comentarios
se produjeron después de que el
martes un portavoz del Gobierno
fuera interrogado sobre la exigencia
de un político de oposición de que
Tokio confirme la existencia de
objetos voladores no identificados.
"Personalmente, definitivamente creo
que existen," dijo el secretario en
jefe del Gabinete Nobutaka Machimura,
provocando la risa de los
periodistas. |

Defense Minister Ishiba Considers
Japan's Options in UFO Attack |
| |
Bloomberg - USA - 20/12/2007 |
| |
Dec. 21 (Bloomberg) -- Japan's
Defense Minister Shigeru Ishiba is
considering how his Self-Defense
Forces could respond to an attack by
space aliens while adhering to
limits on military action under the
country's war-renouncing
Constitution. Ishiba is the second
Cabinet member to profess his belief
in unidentified flying objects after
Chief Cabinet Secretary Nobutaka
Machimura suggested on Dec. 18 they
are the only explanation for ``unexplainable''
things like the Nazca Lines, pre-Columbian
etchings in the desert south of
Lima, Peru. Ishiba said yesterday a
Japanese military response, such as
those in the Godzilla movie series,
would require legal review and said
he is studying ways Japan could deal
with an attack. Ishiba said his
comments represent a ``personal view,''
and not Defense Ministry policy,
according to the transcript of the
press conference published on the
ministry's Web Site. `There are
no grounds for us to deny there are
unidentified flying objects and some
life-form that controls them,''
Ishiba said. ``Few discussions have
been held on what the legal grounds
are'' for a military response.

UFOs exist, says Japan official |
| |
BBC
News Tokyo. 18/12/2007 |
| |
Japan's chief government
spokesman has announced that
unidentified flying objects (UFOs)
exist. Earlier, in response to a
question from an opposition lawmaker,
the Japanese government issued a
statement saying it could not
confirm any cases of UFOs. But Chief
Cabinet Secretary Nobutaka Machimura
later told reporters he believed
they were "definitely" real. It is
the sort of question politicians
dread but, under Japanese rules, are
unable to ignore. A member of the
opposition asked the government what
its policy was to deal with UFOs. He
said work should begin urgently to
try to confirm whether or not they
exist because of what he called "incessant"
reports of sightings. |

El Mundo.es - España - 19/12/2007 |

TOKIO.-
"Sí, los ovnis existen". De
este modo Nobutaka Machimura,
portavoz del Gobierno japonés, ha
hecho pública su creencia en los
ovnis. Machimura, que fue ministro
de Exteriores durante el mandato de
Junichiro Koizumi, también expresó
sus dudas sobre la conveniencia de
hacer esta declaración. El
comentario surgió como consecuencia
de una interpelación realizada por
un diputado de la oposición
pidiendo que se realizase una
investigación "dados los
incesantes informes de avistamientos
de ovnis". El Gabinete japonés
respondió con una declaración en la
que se decía que no había evidencias
sobre su aparición. Pero Machimura
quiso completar la declaración
oficial con una opinión personal.
Ante los periodistas reunidos en una
rueda de prensa convocada para
explicar asuntos corrientes dijo que
"el Gobierno sólo puede ofrecer una
respuesta estereotipada", pero que "personalmente,
definitivamente creo que existen".
Luego agregó que "no debería hablar
mas." |

Científicos y militares de siete
países piden EEUU reabra
investigación ovnis |
| |
Unión Radio - Venezuela - 20/11/2007 |
| |
objetos volantes no identificados
(ovnis) se pueden explicar en
términos convencionales", señaló en
rueda de prensa Fife Symington, ex
gobernador de Arizona. Estados

Former pilots and officials call for
new U.S. UFO probe |
| |
Reuters. UK - 12 de Noviembre de
2007 |
| |
WASHINGTON (Reuters) - Democratic
U.S. presidential hopeful Dennis
Kucinich may have been ridiculed for
saying he had seen a UFO, but for
some former military pilots and
other observers, unidentified flying
objects are no laughing matter. An
international panel of two dozen
former pilots and government
officials called on the U.S.
government on Monday to reopen its
generation-old UFO investigation as
a matter of safety and security
given continuing reports about
flying discs, glowing spheres and
other strange sightings. "Especially
after the attacks of 9/11, it is no
longer satisfactory to ignore radar
returns ... which cannot be
associated with performances of
existing aircraft and helicopters,"
they said in a statement released at
a news conference. The panellists
from seven countries, including
former senior military officers,
said they had each seen a UFO or
conducted an official investigation
into UFO phenomena. |

Policías afirman haber visto un OVNI
y 4 extraterrestres |

La Voz
del Pueblo - Bragado, Buenos Aires,
Argentina - 10/11/2007 |

Los
efectivos policiales efectuaban los
patrullajes de rutina en los caminos
rurales. El avistaje fue desde la
camioneta. Los hombrecillos eran de
pequeña estatura. Bracamonte y
Orellano quedaron paralizados ante
la extraña aparición. Vecinos de los
campos y un matrimonio que iba por
la ruta presenciaron el fenómeno de
características similares. La
aparición de un extraño objeto
volador no identificado, precedido
por una luz envolvente de color
blanca y el avistaje de cuatro seres
extraños en cercanías de Irene,
partido de Coronel Dorrego, tuvo a
los habitantes de la zona
especulando sobre su origen. Ocurrió
el pasado miércoles a la 1.30 de la
madrugada, cuando dos efectivos
policiales de la subcomisaría de
Oriente recorrían la zona rural en
cercanías a Irene, precisamente en
la propiedad del vecino Felipe
Fernández. Entonces tuvo lugar el
inexplicable episodio que dejó
asombrados a Luis Bracamonte,
teniente primero efectivo en Oriente
y Osvaldo Orellano, subteniente de
la misma dependencia. Estos se
hallaban en un procedimiento de
rutina cuando pasada una hora y
media de la medianoche, Orellano se
bajó del móvil para realizar tareas
de reconocimiento, mientras
Bracamonte permanecía en la
camioneta. |

Clinton Library Releases Files On
UFOs. |

Under fire for its sluggish
processing of files from President
Clinton's White House, the National
Archives released files and
photographs yesterday responding to
14 Freedom of Information Act
requests from members of the public.
The records appear unlikely to
contain any political bombshells,
though there could be fodder for the
tabloids. Many of the requests
sought information about the Clinton
White House's records on
unidentified flying objects or UFOs.
The files detail the predilection of
one of Mr. Clinton's chiefs of
staff, John Podesta, for the
extraterrestrial-laden television
series, "the X-Files." A listing of
the newly-released files is
available on the Web at
http://www.clintonlibrary.gov/textual-foia.html#0313. |

American Chronicle - Beverly Hills,
CA, USA - 2/11/2007 |

Presidential candidate Dennis J.
Kucinich came right out and admitted;
- that he had not only seen one of
them - but asserted that more people
in USA have seen a UFO than approve
a GW Bush Presidency. That, and it
was time for the government to "come
clean" on the Roswell matter. UFO's
are not something that most people
are used to seeing. Those who do
report them are often subjected to
ridicule and scorn. So in my opinion
there is something quite refreshing
in politics if a politician is
prepared to risk his credibility
over a subject usually lampooned by
the press and TV, over a subject
seeming to be already primed to
explode in his face. |

Millions Of Americans With Kucinich
On UFO Belief. |

WCBS-TV
New York - NY, USA - 01/11/2007 |
| |
BOSTON (CBS) ― Do you believe
in unidentified flying objects --
UFOs? A third of Americans do. One
in seven claims to have seen one.
And that group includes a
presidential candidate. A lot of
voters might find this the most
believable claim they've heard in
this race. But while politicians may
laugh at UFO sightings, millions of
Americans apparently aren't in on
the joke. 34 percent of Americans
say they believe in ghosts,
according to a pre-Halloween poll by
The Associated Press and Ipsos.
That's the same proportion who
believe in unidentified flying
objects - or UFOs- exceeding the 19
percent who accept the existence of
spells or witchcraft. |

Piden "amnistía" para difusión sobre
extraterrestres en Washington |
| |
El Financiero en línea - 17/09/2007 |

Washington, 17 de septiembre.- Los
participantes en una conferencia
internacional sobre extraterrestres
pidieron hoy una "amnistía" que
permita la divulgación de la
información que el Gobierno de
Estados Unidos y otros países
ocultan, según ellos, acerca de los
contactos entre humanos y seres de
otros mundos. Cientos de personas de
diferentes países concluyeron hoy
una conferencia de tres días en
Gaithesburg (Maryland, EU) con una
presentación ante la prensa, en la
que afirmaron que los gobiernos
ocultan al público en general la
información sobre contactos entre
humanos y extraterrestres. "Existen
informes sustanciales y numerosos de
personas que, a lo largo de décadas,
han visto objetos voladores no
identificados", dijo Stephen Bassett,
productor ejecutivo de la "X-Conference".
Bassett es el único cabildero
registrado en Estados Unidos que
representa a las organizaciones que
investigan los fenómenos
extraterrestres. |

Paradigm Research Group Announces
XConference 2007 September,
Washington, DC |

PR New
Now - 14/09/2007 |
| |
Paradigm Research Group has
announced it will again bring to the
Washington, DC area a powerful group
of speakers and panelists to focus
on the social, political and media
aspects of 60 years of denial of an
extraterrestrial presence engaging
the human race -- exopolitics.
X-Conference 2007 will be held
September 14-16, 2007 and X-Conference
2008 will be held April 18-20, 2008
-- both at the 3-star Hilton Hotel
in Gaithersburg, MD. The X-Conference
speakers and panelists collectively
hold enough knowledge of
extraterrestrial-related phenomena
and governmental involvement with
this phenomena to end the state
imposed truth embargo tomorrow. All
it would take is for the political
leaders and the political media to
pay attention. With that in mind PRG
has scheduled both upcoming events
in the middle of what will likely be
the longest and most expensive
presidential campaign in American
history. All candidates for the
Democratic and Republican nomination,
as well as candidates from
established third parties, will be
invited to attend and offered an
opportunity to speak to an issue
about which 85% of Americans believe
their government is lying -- the
facts behind extraterrestrial-related
phenomena. |

Irish Independent - Dublin,
Ireland -
Monday September

A TOP UK
government official admitted the
existence of UFOs in a secret
document about a dramatic
sighting. The Ministry of
Defence boss made the
astonishing claim after dozens
of eyewitnesses reported a "hovering"
flying saucer in the skies in
Shropshire. His confidential
report features in a new book by
Timothy Good, who is regarded as
a world expert on alien
phenomena. Good's book, Need To
Know, features previously secret
government papers about UFO
sightings which have taken place
around the world. A whole
section is devoted to a mystery
craft which "shot beams of light"
near RAF Shawbury, Shropshire,
in the early hours of March 31,
1993. It had earlier been
spotted in the skies above Devon,
Cornwall and South Wales. |

Inauguración del Exopolitics
Institute en Hawaii, por Dr. Michael
Salla |
| |
7 de abril de 2005 |
| |
The Exopolitics Institute was
incorporated
as a non-profit
educational organisation in the
State of Hawaii, U.S.A., on April 7,
2005; and succesfully gained
501(c) (3)
status as a public
charity with the Internal Revenue
Service on March 6, 2007. The
Institute was created to
simultaneously provide support for
scholars engaged in exopolitical
research, whistleblowers disclosing
information about covert projects
allegedly involving
extraterrestrials or their
technology, and/or individuals
claiming to have experienced
extraterrestrial contact. Without
institutional support many scholars,
'whistleblowers', and 'contactees'
would not be able to present to the
general public the invaluable
information and technologies gained
from their research, work,
communications and/or contact with
extraterrestrial races. The
Exopolitics Institute has sponsored
a number of exopolitical
inititiatves such as an
Exopolitics Journal
, a
conference on
Extraterrestrial Civilizations and
World Peace , and a
Certification Program
whereby
students can enter courses of study
to gain exopolitics certificates. |

Aloha and welcome to this website
which I launched on January 20, 2003
to coincide with Martin Luther King
Day in the USA. At the time, I was a
"Researcher in Residence" with the
Center for Global Peace, American
University, Washington D.C.
Impressed by the
May 2001 Disclosure Project Press
Conference, I decided to begin
researching evidence concerning an
undisclosed extraterrestrial
presence. After writing an article
outlining my research findings, "The
Need for Exopolitics: Implications
of Conspiracy Theories of Policy
Makers and Global Peace," I was
told that my exopolitics research
had "no place either within the
Center for Global Peace or American
University." Officially discouraged
from publishing my exopolitics
reseach on my former
academic website, I therefore
started the Exopolitics.Org website
as a place that could host my
exopolitics research. My exopolitics
research gradually gained the
attention of the mainstream press,
and this culminated in retaliation
by my academic superiors at American
University. My "Peace Amabassador
program" was
summarily terminated in April
2004, and I was told my academic
position would not be renewed in
August 2004. |

UFO spotters slam 'US cover-up' |
| |
BBC (UK) - 10/05/2001 |
| |
By Washington correspondent Rob
Watson. Neil Armstrong was not the
first being on the moon. That, at
any rate, is the position of the
suitably sci-fi sounding Project
Disclosure that launched a campaign
in Washington on Wednesday. It is
aimed at persuading the US Congress
to hold hearings on the existence of
unidentified flying objects and
extra-terrestrials. The campaign
believes the US Government has known
about the existence of UFOs for over
50 years but has been trying to hide
it. It was surely the strangest
ever news conference hosted by
Washington's august National Press
Club. Donna Hare was just one of
over 20 witnesses, most of them ex-military,
and all deadly serious. Among them
was former Army Sergeant, Clifford
Stone, who said the US Government
had tried to suppress what he had
seen one strange day in Pennsylvania,
back in 1969. "I was involved in
situations where we actually did
recoveries of crashed saucers. There
were bodies that were involved with
some of these crashes. Also some of
these were alive," he said. |

Researchers and witnesses call for
disclosure of UFO projects. |
| |
KING-TV (Seattle, WA) - 09/05/2001 |
| |
WASHINGTON, D.C. – The truth is not
out there – it's right here. Doctor
Steven Greer of The Disclosure
Project has no doubt that UFOs have
been studied by the U.S. and other
governments for at least 50 years.
Greer presented dozens of witnesses
from the intelligence, military and
scientific communities at a news
conference in Washington Wednesday.
He's calling for the government to
declassify and disclose its
findings.He says the government is
secretly spending billions of
dollars a year on these so-called "black
budget" special access projects.
Greer says the technology gained
from these projects has profound
implications for national security,
energy, the environment and world
peace. |

The Disclosure Project at the

or extraterrestrials. |
| |
Disclosure Project - 9 Mayo de 2001 |
| |
The Disclosure Project
is a nonprofit research project
working to fully disclose the facts
about UFOs, extraterrestrial
intelligence, and classified
advanced energy and propulsion
systems. We have over 400 government,
military, and intelligence community
witnesses testifying to their direct,
personal, first hand experience with
UFOs, ETs, ET technology, and the
cover-up that keeps this information
secret. On Wednesday, May 9th, 2001,
over twenty military, intelligence,
government, corporate and scientific
witnesses came forward at the
National Press Club in Washington,
DC to establish the reality of UFOs
or extraterrestrial vehicles,
extraterrestrial life forms, and
resulting advanced energy and
propulsion technologies. The weight
of this first-hand testimony, along
with supporting government
documentation and other evidence,
will establish without any doubt the
reality of these phenomena. |
